Fun things to do in Malta
Fun Night time photography project
Tunde is a street, travel & lifestyle photographer who creates art out of the amazing things seen on Malta’s streets. You are invited to be part of her art creation process. Tunde will photograph you in a totally unique, personalised street photography art experience at the islands party district, Paceville among the cool neon lights and reflections. As Tunde always says, ‘photography is what you feel, not what you see.’ Tunde does not just photograph you, she photographs your personality and vibe and reveals who you are with her art photography skills. We will be meeting in front of Hugos’ Hotel, grab a coffee to chat about your expectations and then we will go for a street photo walk. This is a photoshoot for individuals who are after something interesting, sophisticated and unusual. Tunde will take you to unique spots at the party district of the island to create very unique portraits. You will get ten high-resolution, professionally edited images out of the experience. You will visit the best photo spots where you will be part of a street photoshoot experience. The photoshoot is exclusive. Perfect for individuals, couples or groups, but never mixed with other people you don’t know.

I’m a well-known street, travel & lifestyle photographer. The first time I held a camera I was 4 and started to learn from my photographer mum. I studied Journalism and Media at UCL and started off as a music journalist / live music photographer in London. I’ve been working as a content creator, designer and photographer for over 6 years. As the former editor of ‘Voyager’ travel magazine, I have an eye for dynamic, properly-edited images showcasing the whole travel experience. I run photography masterclasses in partnership with Wex Photo & Video, where I teach photographers who have been working in the industry for over 30 years. I do exhibitions in London and my images are viral on the internet. I’ve been featured on Skyscanner, LoveMalta and Visitlondon.com. See my work here IG: @tunde_valiszka
Another great thing to do: Kayak and speedboat to Comino
Join us on an exciting Kayak & Speedboat experience with unforgettable views and mesmerizing waters. Our journey starts at the port Mgarr. From there we will be heading to one of Gozo’s coastal areas. The experience is divided in 2 parts: (Kayaking) & (Speedboat ride to Blue Lagoon) Kayaking (Beginner friendly) (1.5hrs) You’ll be kayaking along the coastline, exploring secluded areas, cliffs and crystal clear waters. In this part of the experience we will perform a safety briefing and a paddle tutorial. While previous paddling experience is helpful, it isn’t necessary as long as you’re fairly fit and can prove after instruction that you can confidently paddle before you leave the safety of the bay. Remember that kayaking is a physical activity so be prepared to paddle & get wet. We will try to make it fun rather than a work out :-). Speedboat ride to Blue Lagoon You’ll be taking a short boat ride to “Blue Lagoon” where you can relax on the sand, swim in caves, hike along the coastline and immerse yourselves on this beautiful island. Note: Depending on the weather and other conditions, we will adjust the experience accordingly. All participants should have basic swimming skills (a life jacket is always provided as a precaution). Please contact us if your preferred date is not available or if you are booking for one person.
Few words from the hosts
Hello there ? We welcome you to the beautiful island of Gozo. We are Paul and Kasia, both adventure seekers, wanting to show you what the island of Gozo has to offer. We’ve been providing outdoor experiences for a living but we always try to find some time to connect and share that experience with others. Paul – I lived here on this little island for a great part of my life. Being someone who loves nature has giving me an opportunity to explore and discover many hidden locations in different ways. Since then I have a particular fondness for nature and coastal areas. Kasia – I discovered the island of Gozo while travelling with Paul. Originally from Poland, I always felt a feeling of enrichment while exploring new areas. In recent years Gozo has offered me the balance and peacefulness I have been looking for, both on land and sea.
Going on a Pub Crawl is a fun thing to do
There are hundreds of bars, clubs and pubs in the area, each one with a different party theme. There’s the popular reggaeton bars with salsa and latino music releasing tunes that make your body move in directions you never imagined. There’s the Hip hop, r&b clubs where the atmosphere can be more cool. There’s the gentlemans clubs, which are seemingly on every corner. There’s the shot bars popular for some pre session hits of strong spirits. Hidden away are the gems, the beautiful venues with class and elegance. Hard to find and often missed.
Clubbing often goes through the night and you can party till the early hours of the morning. That’s where the inspiration for Malta Pub Crawl came from, we serve as a nightlife guide to get you through the hectic party scene in Paceville. It’s our job to take you on a positive clubbing journey.
Starting off the night with group introductions and partying at St Julian’s largest nightclubs. The Pub Crawl is an exhilarating experience and often has you making friends that last a lifetime.
From your host Luca
I Grew up in Malta, I love the sea, pastizzi, party and an international environment. There is a right of passage that every Maltese youth experiences, their first night out in the Paceville nightlife. The drinking age in Malta is 17 years old, at this naive young age, many youngsters walk up the paceville stairs and marvel at the lights, sounds and sometimes potent aromas that emanate from the bars and clubs.

During the Summer the bars & clubs are packed every night of the week. So from Monday to Sunday you can enjoy the beats, beers and people every day! The winter nights are not as busy but you can still hit the clubs at the weekend and even during the week. International student nights are tuesday & thursday at Truth Club or Footloose. Friday nights university students gather at Big G’s & Quenchers for pre-drinks.
If you’re new to Malta it’s a great idea to join the pub crawl, it’s a great way to make new friends and hit up the clubs with a cool group of people and avoid the creeps. Malta Pub Crawl chooses its venues according to what’s happening on the night. The meeting point is in Paceville Piazza and the experience includes 30 minutes of free shots, 4 entry drinks, 4 venues and Maltese humour.
To participate in this experience you must book online at pubcrawlmalta.com
